Preparations continue

Getting ready to build a new building is complicated! Since the last posting, the contractor has been chosen - SpawGlass. A line of credit is being established with Bank of Texas. Progress is being made in the relocation of the utility poles and the abandonment of the easement so that construction can begin. Over the past two weekends, Joe Hightower, Jon Stevens, Mark Sacco, manager Ed Gibson, and guests Freddy Garcia, Larry Simmons, and Conze Mata have taken down trees in preparation for the relocation of the poles. The pictures here show some of their work and the size of some of the trees. Most of the work was done by chain saw; however, at least one tree was cut down with an old fashioned two man saw! The felling of the trees just goes to show the versatility and talents of our many volunteers! Thanks, guys.
